Poster Designs

A series of poster designs focusing on variations of typography, imagery, and illustration.

Explore the various relationships between type and imagery. The task is to design a series of three posters. Each poster will utilize typography differently.

Typographic Poster Series:

Project Overview:

The purpose of this poster was to draw attention to health-related communication for college-aged people. The subject matter focused on eating disorders specifically and how to seek help on a college campus. The design aims to raise awareness of health support resources available on campus and persuade users about the significance of this particular part of personal health.

I want this poster to make an impact on its audience and let them know where they can get in touch with campus resources if this is a topic that resonates with them. Discovering ways to use design as a tool for change was what I wanted to address with my design. I discovered the chance to create something unique that no one had ever seen before, all while conveying a story and designing.

Color was another aspect of making this poster, and I was only limited to using three. I wanted to include the representation of eating disorder awareness that the color lilac offers in my design after doing a lot of study on the subject. Translating and conveying complex concepts and information in this poster was another issue I faced and resolved during this process.

This poster project is a reflection of my creative process since it illustrates my desire for the audience to engage emotionally with the design and the value of using storytelling in design. Through my creations, I hope to captivate the audience and provide possible assistance and resources.
