About me

Hello! My name is Katia Mzehem and I'm a Multidisciplinary Designer with a BFA in Visual Communication Design, specializing in Product/UX and Motion Design.

I focus on crafting clean, user-friendly digital experiences that are as functional as they are visually engaging.

My approach blends functionality with visual storytelling.

Whether I’m designing a user flow, animating a microinteraction or a story to created an animated video, or illustrating custom visuals, I aim to create cohesive, engaging experiences that bring ideas to life.

I believe motion and illustration are powerful tools to enhance clarity, emotion, and delight in digital products.

What I Do

  • UX & Product Design – Wireframes, flows, prototypes, and design systems

  • Motion Design – UI animations, transitions, and interactive microinteractions, animated videos/2d animation

  • Illustration – Custom icons, spot illustrations, and branded visuals

  • Visual Design – Polished UI, branding, layout, and design consistency

When I'm not designing, you’ll find me sketching new ideas, learning new animation techniques, or exploring how motion and visuals can solve UX problems in smarter, more delightful ways. I’m always curious, always creating, and always striving to push the boundaries of interactive design.

I enjoy making a cup of iced coffee, going on walks, baking, drawing and painting ☕️ I’ve always had a passion for art and creativity! I also have two cats; a flame point siamese cat and tabby.

When I’m not working or designing…
